The Umaid Bagh Resorts is a living farm situated on the banks of lake Jait Sagar. It is just 2 km away from Bundi city surrounded
by mountains and a lake on all three sides. It is the home to many migratory birds in winter.
Shreeji Ummaid Singhji, the ruler of Bundi State gifted this property to his sons Sardar Singhji and Balwant Singhji, in old days it was
used as an "Araamgah" or rest house in their leisure hours. At present it is owned by Maharaj Rajendra Singhji of Degari.
The Resort consist of 8 well furnished tents. The A bathrooms are well equipped with hot and cold water. Many outdoor activities
are also available like Jeep Safari, Boating, Bird Watching, Trekking etc.
The Resort has an open lake view restaurant on lake side with traditional Rajasthani and Continental food.
four storeyed “The Umaid Bagh Resorts” built 150 years before. All the rooms have been renovated in such a way that the atmosphere of
the old architecture is not disturbed. There is ample open space in shape of tibaries, courtyards and terraces, from where one can
enjoy the magnificent view of the Fort, the Palace and this medieval city nestled in the valley. The Umaid Bagh Resorts is situated below
the Palace.
