Originally a pleasure garden of the Maharajas of Kishangarh, so very often portrayed in several paintings of the
famous Kishangarh miniature school, Phool Mahal Palace was constructed in the 19th century by Maharaja Prithee
Singh as his palace of the lotuses. The Majestic fort of Kishangarh and the deep moat surrounding it, form its back
drop while the vast Gundalao Lake with its myriad bird life its front.
Phool Mahal Palace has been recently restored and renovated by the present Maharaja.
