Quintessential Rajasthan |
Day 01: Jaipur: You will be received at Airport/Railways Station and transferred to hotel. Later we visit Ramniwas
Garden, Zoo, Central Museum, Birla Science Museum & Planetarium, Statue Circle, pass through New Vidhan Sabha Bhawan,
Birla Mandir and Jawahar Kala Kendra. Over night at hotel.
Day 02: Jaipur: After breakfast we drive out to explore the well planned city of Sawai Jai Singh II still alive with
Colour, Joy, Regality, People, Art and Culture. We visit the busy Bazaars, the Hawamahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. After
lunch we visit Amber Fort & Palace, Jagat Shiromani Temple and pass through the scenic Jal Mahal. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Bharatpur: Reach Bharatpur by afternoon and check in at hotel. After lunch we explore the Keoladeo Ghana
National Park on foot. Marshes of Bharatpur were developed as Duck shooting reserve by the then Rulers of the Bharatpur state.
First recorded shoot was by “Lord Curzen” in 1902. The area was notified as sanctuary in 1956 and was upgraded as a National
Park in 1982. It is named after Keoladeo (Shiva) temple located in the center of the park, during monsoon rain water and water
chanelissed from Ajan Dam on the west inundates nearly 11 sq km (max depth 1.7m) with abundant aquatic vegetation, fish,
snail, frog, insects etc. and plenty of Babul, Kadam, Ber, Ficus and other trees provide an ideal habitat for nesting of over
120 kind of birds. A large number of migratory birds come to the park during winter season (Oct to March). In fact Keoladeo
National Park is a Paradise for Ornithologists and photo naturalists. Presence of about 400 species of birds in this small
area makes it the richest bird habitat in the world.
Day 04: Ranthambhore: Early morning proceed towards Ranthambhore which is the best among the other Tiger Reserves of
the Country. Immediate after checking in at hotel we go for game viewing to the Tiger Reserve. In evening we enjoy wildlife
movie and other activities at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Ranthambhore: In the morning we again take jungle ride as once is not enough. After lunch visit to Soorwal
lake. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Ajmer - Pushkar: Leave Ranthambhore for Ajmer & Pushkar, both the places are major religious center for
Muslim and Hindu Pilgrims respectively. We visit famous Dargah of Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti, Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, Anna Sagar
Lake at Ajmer. In the evening we explore the spiritual facets of this relaxed holy town Pushkar on foot. Overnight at Ajmer.
Day 07: Chittaurgarh: We reach Chittore by noon and check in at hotel. Later we visit fort and palaces of Chittore. We
keep rest of the day for leisure and evening for cultural entertainment. Over night at Bassi.
Day 08: Udaipur: En route to Udaipur we visit the celebrated temples of Eklingji, which was built for the tutelary
deity of the Maharanas of Mewar, of sandstone and marble in 734 AD. Its 108 temples are enclosed by high walls and has a
pyramidical roof composed of hundreds of knobs. Later, visit Nagda, one of the ancient palaces of Mewar dating back to the
6th century AD. The Sas Bahu Temples are among the most exquisitely carved temples. On arrival at Udaipur check in at hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 09: Udaipur: For the day we visit the City Palace, Lake Pichola, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Jagdish temple, Gulab Bagh,
Fateh Sagar Lake and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal. Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 10: Mount Abu: After Breakfast continue to Mount Abu – one and only hill station of Rajasthan. Upon arrival check
in at hotel. Later take tour of Mount Abu to cover Delwara Temple, Nakki Lake, Tod Rock and Sunset point. Overnight at Mount Abu.
Day 12: Jodhpur: Upon arrival check in at hotel. Soon after we climb up the Majestic Mehrangarh Fort and explore its
every nook & corner. We also visit the Jaswant Thada, Ummaid Bhawan, Clock Tower and Markets. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 13: Jaisalmer: On the way to Jaisalmer we visit Kheechan to thousand of migratory birds. Reach Jaisalmer by
afternoon. Upon arrival check in at hotel. After lunch we visit Amar Sagar, Lodhruva, Haunting village of Kuldhra and sand
dunes Sam. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
Day 14: Jaisalmer: We take a half day sightseeing trip of the fort, havelis, temples, and Gadsisar tank. After lunch
visit Desert National Park. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Bikaner: We reach Bikaner by afternoon at check in at hotel. Afterwards we visit Fort, Palaces, Museums and
temples of Bikaner. By the evening we take trip to the prestigious camel breeding farm and Karni Mata Temple Deshnok.
Overnight at Bikaner.
Day 16: Nawalgarh: At Nawalgarh we take waking trip to explore the most colourful painted havelis of Nawalgarh.
Overnight at Nawalgarh.
Day 17: Nawalgarh: You will be transferred to Jaipur Railway Station/ Bus Stand to connect your onwards journey.
